What have your first impressions of the trip been? Consider the travel, Antigua and everything you´ve done and seen. What has been impressive? New? Amazing? Less than amazing?
Well so far I've had a great time! Right now I've got a little bit of allergies but Antigua has been great. But we didn't originally plan to come here first. We missedour flight to Flores from Guatemala City and so we jumped on a bus and took it here. We've explored the city and had some great food. There's really just so much going on. It's crazy to think we're in another country. But the daily downpour and cops with shotguns walking the streets is a good indicator. Today we had some of the best food of my life. I really think I'm going to gain weight on this trip. But it´s not like I started out with much anyway. I'm a pretty picky eater but it's been no problem here, I've just kinda jumped in and taken everything as is and worked with it. I had my first try of guacemole and actually enjoyed some tomatoes! (Also; please forgive my spelling and any lack of punctuation, the copmuters here are all in Spanish andwhen I type in English it considers it inncorrect, so everything I type has a red line underneath.) Nevertheless! I'm having a fantastic time, I'm working on my Spanish and I'm loving Guatemala!
